Conor Casey: The Niall Mellon Building Blitz 2008
In November, our member of staff, Conor Casey, participated in the Niall Mellon Township Trust 2008 ‘Building Blitz’ which took place over one week in the impoverished township of Khayelitsha, on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa.
Conor was part of a contingent of over 2000 volunteers from all corners of Ireland and over the week, 253 new houses were completed.
We are proud to have supported the Niall Mellon Township Trust initiative for 2008.
