This month Semple & McKillop once again had a positive outcome from the yearly audit of it’s Integrated Quality Management System accredited to 9001, 14001 and 45001.

In addition to auditing how we deliver our design and consultancy services, the audit covered our complete business processes and included management and leadership, staff development and engagement, H&S management and energy minimisation and conservation.

During the visit the 2 auditors from NQA met with a number of staff including 4 of our design engineers.  An excerpt from the NQA report observed, ‘Design Projects continue to demonstrate full compliance as well as an impressive understanding and competence with regards to the Design Engineers through access to current standards and codes of practice, specific scheme requirements, knowledge of Clients requirements and sound awareness of environmental alternatives and benefits and design risk assessment’.

On providing an update following the visit, Sandra McKillop thanked staff and commented, ‘accreditation to these standards has been a streamlined and positive process due to the commitment and professionalism you apply to your work on a daily basis .’
