Semple & McKillop were delighted to be a part of the Design Team on this Grade B2 restoration project at Enniskillen Workhouse, restoring it into a Heritage Centre and Business Enterprise Hub.

The Heritage Centre included the restoration of part of the ground floor space, specifically the Master’s Room to tell the story of the workhouse. This included interpretative design and fit out.

The Enterprise Hub comprised workspace for the support and development of high value business ideas providing flexible and dynamic workspace.

The Workhouse was originally built in the 1840’s and designed by workhouse Architect George Wilkinson.

Enniskillen Workhouse is located on the newly built Erne Campus site which we also acted as the M&E Consultants on.
