Preliminary design is now complete on the new €65M 6-storey Surgical Block at Sligo Regional Hospital. Working with our client, the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the design team, the definitive project brief has been finalised which represents the full statement of the functional and operational requirements for the build.

The client aspirations are to provide a ‘class-leading facility in the delivery of Acute Surgical services’. The new surgical block is to span 25,000sqm and shall provide services including Radiology, Emergency Department, Acute Assessment Unit, Integrated Paediatric Department, Surgical Wards, Operating Theatres and Intensive Care Unit.
