A partnership between Glanbia Consumer Foods Ireland and Nampak Plastics, a global leader in milk packaging, has delivered a new and innovative plastic bottle blow-moulding plant. The plant is at the Glanbia fresh milk packaging facility in Ballitore, Co Kildare.
The new FACILITY enables Glanbia to manufacture its own High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic milk bottles and reaffirms the site as a centre of excellence for fresh milk production. This development is supporting the company to reduce its carbon footprint by negating the need for 40 deliveries per week.
