Power on for Game of Thrones
Semple & McKillop recently completed a upgrade of the high voltage infrastructure to the Paint Hall at Titanic Quarter in time for the commencement of filming of the 2nd series of HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The project saw the installation of new High Voltage Switchgear and the refurbishment and re-commissioning of existing infrastructure to accommodate an increased electrical supply to the Paint Hall which is now Northern Ireland’s premier film studio location.
The work was designed, tendered and installed within an extremely short period of time and was delivered through successful collaboration with Northern Ireland Screen and Titanic Quarter in time to allow the cameras to start rolling.
