Semple & McKillop claimed a prize for their work for St Lukes Hospital, Armagh at the all-island Sustainable Energy (SEAI) Awards held in Dublin. The Awards highlight excellence in business energy management and this year included entries from over 100 organisations across the island.

The ‘Leading Energy Efficiency Project Award’ was secured for the decentralisation of the heating system at St Luke’s Hospital. This project is on target for a 40% reduction in annual running costs and a 45% reduction in carbon dioxide omissions. The judges commented on the project as being ‘… a good innovation in a modular approach and very replicable’.
