Semple & McKillop have supported the HSE to reach a significant milestone in the delivery of a €150M contract to design and build 11 community nursing units (CNUs) across Ireland.

Over the last number of months our Team have been providing technical advisory services to the HSE and now 7 of the CNUs have reached tender stage. The complete brief has been established with detailed room drawings developed in BIM and the technical specifications detailed for each site. The tender documents necessary for this procurement stage are now complete for the design, build, finance, operation and maintenance for this single bundle of 7 CNUs.

The sites, some greenfield and some within existing HSE campuses are located in Killarney, Kerry; St. Finbarrs, Cork; Middleton, Cork; Clonmel, Tipperary; Thomastown, Kilkenny; Athlone, Westmeath and Ardee, Louth.  Notification of the preferred tenderer is due by October this year.
