St Matthew’s Church: Back to Original Vibrant State

The re-opening and dedication of the altar of St Matthew’s Church took place on Sunday 1st February 2009.

Matthew’s Church was first consecrated in March 1831 and is one of the oldest parishes in Belfast. McLean and Forte, the chartered architects, have sympathetically restored the architectural features to their original vibrant state.

Semple & McKillop Ltd completed the mechanical and electrical design including design of a new heating system and feature lighting to the main church.
