Semple & McKillop have been supporting ‘tomorrow’s engineers’ since the formation of the Company in 1997.

Employing high calibre staff is key to delivering a high level of service to our clients; at the forefront of what we do.

Our highly sought-after student placement programme was introduced in the early days of the Company, and we have actively supported over 50 placement students develop and learn within the Building Services industry. This year alone (2022-2023), we have appointed 5 placements students, our most ever students in 1 year!

To further support tomorrow’s engineers, we are also delighted to take part in a higher-level apprenticeship programme. In October we appointed 2 apprentices as part of this programme to come on board our team. This has proven in the past to be a successful venture, as our apprentices ‘learn on the job’.

We are extremely proud of the work we do with universities and colleges throughout the UK and Ireland to support our young people and tomorrow’s engineers.
