Last Friday, we were invited to DkIT to deliver a talk on ‘Women in Engineering’, perfectly timed with International Women’s Day over the weekend.

Our Senior Engineer, Sile, led the presentation, sharing her career experience since secondary school up to her work as a Senior Chartered Engineer in the Building Services field.
Our Graduate Engineer, Ciara, also attended and spoke with young girls about her own journey in engineering.

There was over 100 secondary school students in attendance from The Marist, St Vincent’s, Ó Fiaich College, Dundalk and Beach Hill College Monaghan.

Our feedback from DkIT and the teachers was really positive.

It was a fantastic event filled with enthusiastic young women interested in the field, and we were delighted to be part of it.
